Colles' fracture and dinner fork deformity
A Colles' fracture is a type of fracture of the distal forearm in which the broken end of the radius is bent backwards (dorsally). Complications may include damage to the median nerve. A dinner fork deformity, also known as a bayonet deformity, occurs as the result of a malunited distal radial fracture, usually a Colles' fracture. Comments are closed.
